RRRC Membership 

RRRC is a Self-Care facility

​River Road Riding Club (RRRC) is a Private organization located on Maxwell, Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama. It is not part of the Depart of Defense (DoD) or any of its components and it has no governmental status.

 

$85 a month per horse + one time $25 membership fee

Self-Care boarding includes:
 

Dry Stall
Individual turnout pasture (not attached to barn)
Your own space in tack room, feed room, and hay barn
Use of the facilities

You are in charge of supplying your own hay, grain, shavings, feeding, stall cleaning, turning in and out, your turnout pasture maintenance, etc. The barn requires mandatory "work days" where everyone contributes to work around the facility.

We currently have Ted Roach as our wonderful farrier. You are welcome to get on his schedule (he comes every 5 weeks) or have your own farrier if that is more preferred. You will be responsible for sponsoring them on base.
